18 Wheeler Up In Blazes on Interstate 35 North

Hopefully you weren't in the Bellmead area around the lunch rush. If so, you may have witnessed a blazing inferno on Interstate 35.

KWTX reported that traffic was halted on I 35 North due to an 18-wheeler catching fire, Tuesday around 12:00 p.m.

All traffic heading northbound was diverted at exit 336, causing major backups and delays. It was unclear how the fire started, but fire crews on the scene believe it may have been a gas leak.

Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.
