Waco authorities were hard at work Thursday morning clearing two traffic crashes that backed up traffic on Interstate 35.

KWTX's Christy Soto reports that the collisions happened near the Brazos River.

The first reportedly happened on the I-35 bridge over the Brazos River. The second happened further north near Bellmead.

With the proximity of the accidents being so close to one another, it caused major delays for drivers. While clearing the wreckage at the scenes, crews had two close two lanes in order to get everything cleaned up. The lane closures with the combination of the wreckage led to major headaches for commuters.

No major injuries were reported in either accident, so that's a blessing.
