Authorities Identify Man Killed in Bellmead While Crossing Street

KWTX reported that authorites late Tuesday afternoon identified to the piblic a man that was tragically killed over the weekend in the Central Texas town of Bellmead.

The man who was tragically killed Saturday night, was struck by a vehicle while he was crossing Bellmead Drive in Bellmead.

The man who was killed was Michael Macy, 62 of Bellmead. The accident was reported to authorities slightly before 8:45 p.m., and it took place on the 4700 block of Bellmead Drive that night.

Macy died at the scene of the crash after he was struck by a 19-year-old driver from Belton. The 19-year-old man was driving from the eastbound direction when he struck Macy. There have been no charges filed in the case, but the accident is still currently under investigation.
