Woman Killed on Interstate 35 in Belton Late Sunday
KWTX's Megan Vanselow reported that a stretch of Interstate 35 South was shutdown for hours overnight after a woman was struck on the highway.
The woman struck was a 34-year-old from Temple, and she lost her life when hit by a vehicle late Sunday evening.
The woman's name has not been released to the public at this present time. The woman was hit around 9:50 p.m. on Sunday evening by a 2004 Honda Accord. The woman was hit near the Tahuaya Road exit located between Belton and Salado.
There have been no further details released about this case, and I-35 South was closed for around for hours in the area from the accident.
