KWTX's Matthew Ablon reported that Baylor University Police Department is wanting everyone on campus to stay aware of their surroundings.

An assault took place early Thursday morning in the vicinity of the campus. According to a Facebook post by Baylor's Department of Public Safety, a woman was walking close to the Tidwell building by South 5th Street and James Avenue around 12:10 a.m. on Thursday.

A man came up behind the woman, and grabbed her waist. The woman wrestled away from the man, and ran away to call the Baylor police. The man jetted off down South 5th Street, running in the opposite direction of the campus.

The Baylor authorities quickly scanned the area for the assailant, but were unable to track him. There were no weapons involved in the incident, and the woman was not harmed.

The man Baylor authorities are looking for is a male who is around 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds, and was last seen in a grey hoody and sweatpants. The authorities are asking everyone on campus to stay aware of their surroundings, and stay on alert. Anyone who knows whereabouts of the suspect, please contact Baylor University police.
