Belton Breaking Out New Uniforms for Military Appreciation Night
Your Belton Tigers will be kicking off at 7:30 p.m. tonight against the Copperas Cove Bulldogs at Tiger Field. This is a big game, with it being the district opener for both teams. But also, it's another a big game for another reason as well.
It's Military Appreciation Night at the game, and the Belton Tigers are breaking out some nice new uniforms for the occasion.
The Belton Tigers will be breaking out their red and camo uniforms in honor of the strong military presence here in the area with nearby Fort Hood.
The Tigers will sport a red jersey with grey camo numerals, white trim, and tigers across the chest in bold white capital letters. The pants match the grey camo numerials in color, and have a red stripe going down the sides of the pants.
The helmets are all white, and have the Belton "B" lettering filled in with the American flag on the helmets. The striping of the helmet has stickers of the different branches of the military going from the front to the back of the helmets.
Definitely should be a great game, and definitely a great cause in honoring the military for the game. Tune into K Rock 101.7 for the pregame show at 7:00 p.m., and kickoff at 7:30 p.m. if you can't come out tonight. If you can't listen on the radio dial, tune in on the KRock 101.7 app to tune into the action. Hope you can come out, and Go Tigers!
