Belton Police Investigating Apparent Murder-Suicide

The Bell County Sheriff's Office is investigating a murder-suicide in a home on Charping Lane in Belton.

KWTX reports that police were called to a home at 1608 Charping shortly after 5 PM Sunday for a welfare check.

When they arrived, they found the bodies Brian Lee Hand, 38, and Ana Christina Hernandez, 47 - both of whom had gunshot wounds. Neighbors said the two lived in the home.

The two were pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace David Barfield, who ordered their bodies undergo autopsy.
