Waco authorities are investigating after a body was found in a Waco creek.

KWTX's Christy Soto reported that the body that was discovered in the vicinity of South 10th Street and Hines Avenue Sunday night.

Around 6:45 PM, authorities received a call about the discovery. Investigators were not able to identify the body at the scene due to its condition. However, they were able to determine that the body belonged to a man.

A judge ordered the remains sent for autopsy. Until those results come back, we won't know the age or identity of the deceased. Police did not say if they suspect foul play.
