Car Accident in Central Texas Sends Two to Hospital

KWTX's Rhyan Henson reported that a horrific car accident took place in Waco on Friday morning.

Fire crews on the scene said, "Two cars were involved in a head on collision on New Road between I-35 and Bagby Avenue." The accident took place around 8:30 a.m..

Authorities on the scene reported that both drivers received pretty serious injuries due to the accident they were involved in.

Authorities on the scene shut down a section of New Road while they worked to clear the scene of the wreckage. Waco Police Department Accident Reconstruction team is investigating the crime scene.
