Copperas Cove police are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store early Monday morning.

According to a Cove PD Facebook post, the man entered the 7-Eleven 501 North 1st Street around 3:32 AM on January 2. He reportedly threatened an employee with a weapon before fleeing with cash.

The suspect was described as a light-skinned man of "average build", standing between 5'9" and 5'10". He was wearing a blue shirt beneath a gray t-shirt and dark pants, and surveillance footage shows him using a red and white shirt to cover his head.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Copperas Cove Crime Stoppers (254) 547-1111 or tipsubmit.com. Crime Stoppers will not ask for your name, and information leadin to an arrest could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.
