Driver Found Shot in Temple Wednesday

Temple police are investigating after a man was found shot inside a vehicle near I-35 Wednesday morning.

Temple Police Department public information officer Cody Weems reports that police received a call about a shooting victim around 7:53 AM. They responded to the scene near northbound Interstate 35 exit 303 and found a man with a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

Weems said the investigation is still in the early stages, so he could not provide more details about the shooting or the condition of the victim.
