Killeen’s Warming Shelter Will Open Wednesday Night (Feb 12) through Thursday Morning

Though the weather warmed up today, we are still expecting a cold night, with temperatures in the 30's.  That's why the Killeen Community Center at 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd. will be open as a warming shelter tonight (Feb 12) from 6 p.m. until 8 a.m. Thursday.

Warming shelters provide a safe place for people who would normally be out in the elements on an extremely cold evening.
