Local Job Fair Will Cater to Educators

Those seeking career opportunities in education are invited to a free job fair in Waco Wednesday, May 07.

Education Service Center Region 12 is hosting its 20th annual Central Texas Education Job Fair from 2 to 5 p.m. at 2101 West Loop 340. Employers from more than 30 districts throughout Region 12 will be on hand to interview candidates and discuss job opportunities with candidates.

The job fair is open to anyone seeking a career in education, including teachers, principals, superintendants, counselors, administrators and diagnosticians. No registration is required, and attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume.

“This is a great opportunity for present teachers to explore new opportunities and for graduating students to get connected in the education arena,” said ESC Region 12 certification manager Cynthia Wittenburg in a press release. “We will have schools from across the region which includes 12 counties.”
