Where To Have Fun in Central Texas This Memorial Day Weekend

With the long Memorial Day Weekend coming up, the good people of Central Texas will be looking to have fun. Whether it be with family or just friends, it's a perfect time to get together. Luckily for most of us, there's a lot to do with the extra day off.

For some, like me, staying inside and enjoying the extra hours of sleep will be enough to be content. But with those who have extra energy, or little ones who want to enjoy the day, we've got you covered with some fun places to go.

Just remember if you're going out in the Texas heat to bring sunscreen! And most importantly, to stay hydrated. Yes swimming in pools cools you off, but you body will still need fluids to stay cool as well. So let's take a look at some of the water parks you can attend!

It was recently announced that Killeen's Aquatic Center will indeed be open for the weekend. And while I looked at photos of the water park, I really wanted to hop onto the water slides! Though I have no idea if I'd be able to slide without hurting myself...
