Second Fire on Same Block in Two Weeks Ignites Home in North Temple

Ten units and 25 personnel from the Temple Fire Department responded to a house fire on Thursday night shortly after 11 p.m.

This is the second fire in two weeks that Temple Fire & Rescue has responded to on the 1300 Block of N. 2nd Street in North Temple, according to KWTX.

There were no injuries reported, though the single story wood-frame house received extensive damage and is considered a total loss. Investigators are currently tryignto fidn answers for both fires. It took an hour for the fire crew to control the blaze.
