Sheesh! Governor Abbott Says He Will Not Allow Gender Neutral Toy Aisles in Texas
Governor Greg Abbott, just like anybody else in Texas, has his own opinion about most things, but for me personally, in my honest opinion, this is probably where I draw the line.
Gregory Abbott doesn’t want us to have a neutral gender toy isles for children. To be specific, he's voiced opposition to a move by California to require retailers with 500 or more employees to display some toys generally marketed to boys or girls in another non-gendered aisle.
Now, even though I’m not fully educated on the LGBTQ community, that doesn’t mean I won’t voice my opinion on certain things because at the end of the day we’re all human beings and I truly believe that everyone should be treated equally no matter your race, religion, or gender.
When you’re a child, you’re taught to treat other ones with respect, and not only that, but to love people the way you want people to love you. I think this go around, the Governor has dropped the ball and maybe forgotten those fundamentals that we learn growing up.

The only reason why I say that is because if you’re not someone who is necessarily going through issues of gender identity, why is it any of your concern? Just like the saying goes, if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Just like the new saying goes, drink your water and mind your business.
This just pretty much means if it doesn’t concern you, if it’s not hurting you financially, physically, or mentally, why even entertain it? I guess that’s just a question that the governor would have to ask an answer for himself, and it makes me wonder who he's try to appeal to for votes here.
