Bus Crash

A bus crash occurred on Interstate 35 North just south of Hillsboro on Wednesday afternoon.

One coach and another adult were fatally wounded when a pickup truck traveling the wrong way along a highway in Hudspeth County hit the bus head-on.

A witness says he heard the 20-year-old driver of the pickup that hit a First Baptist Church of New Braunfels bus, killing 13, admit to texting while driving.

Authorities say they received calls about a pickup swerving on the road shortly before a head-on collision between a church bus and a pickup killed 13 people.
