The City of Temple is inviting all residents to join "Clap Because We Care"

Continuing to show support to essential employees, healthcare workers, custodians, the grocery store workers, delivery truck drivers, and everyone in between.

Tonight and every Tuesday step outside and clap for a minute to thank essential workers!

Share your photos and videos on social media using the hashtags #clapbecausewecare and #templestrong, and send them to to be featured on their page!

Also, Virtual Story Time happens Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. as the Temple Public Library brings storytime to you.

Ms. Erin and Miss Kandee make learning fun with stories, songs, puppets, and more so make sure the kids are by the computer or tablet to check it out

You can see the virtual storytime here.

If that's not enough there is more!

With their program cancellations and facility closures, The Temple Parks and Recreation Department still want to make sure you have fun!

They will be offering a Virtual Recreation Center and Resource Guide, including video tutorials, arts and crafts, fitness, games, and activities for all ages.
