Temple Family Left Homeless After Fire

Due to a severe fire Tuesday evening, a family of 13 has been left homeless.The fire started at a home in the 1900 block of North 7th Street.

The Temple residents were able to safely escape their former home. Local firefighters responded to the scene, where they soon ordered out of the house after the flames burned through the roof.

As of now, officials do not know the exact dollar amount of the damage the fire has caused to the home.

There has been no foul play suspected, and officials say the fire may have begun in the attic. The casue of the fire has yet to be determined.
