Oliver Stone here, for this ninth edition of the Temple Wildcat Coaches Show. As always, hosted by myself and Temple's Head Coach Scott Stewart. In this edition, we also went visual for the show this time. So be sure to watch the video attached to the post to get a true inside look of the show.

Coach Stewart and myself discussed the Wildcats dominant 38-14 win over the Waco Lions. I discussed with Coach Stewart how many were surprised to see such a dominant win, and also amazed about the display the Wildcats defense put on.

The Wildcats have a bye week this week, and couldn't come at a better time with a district 18-5A showdown for a winner take all battle against the College Station Cougars next Friday. Just as your Wildcats are 4-0 in district, so are the Cougars. I expressed to Coach Stewart "that these are the type of games that you really want to play in." Also, the bye week gives you time to focus on the fundamentals, and getting injured players more rehabilitation time without missing another game.

Coach Farrell, the defensive coordinator of the Wildcats, was very proud of his defense and the showing they put on. He's looking forward to the bye week to get his defense better equipped on the little things that come with being a quality defensive unit. One thing for sure, the Wildcats need to see a sea of blue in the stands of College Station High School Stadium.

If you need a blue Temple Wildcats KRock 101.7 shirt to help blue out the stadium; come see us at Wings Pizza N Things this Friday to receive one. Yes, even though it's a bye week, we will still be out with the shirts. 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. come see us at Wings Pizza N Things to receive a shirt.

Also, if you are unable to make the trip to College Station High School Stadium, you can tune in to the KRock 101.7 broadcast of the game. The pregame show begins at 7:00 p.m., and kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.. If you are in the Centex area, tune in on your radio dial at 101.7, stream it from krock1017fm.com, or download our new app KRock101 and stream it that way.
