Tree For Me Coming in September to Temple

Temple Parks & Recreation will be giving away trees in September.

To help beautify our neighborhoods and maybe even boost air quality throughout Temple, the Temple Parks & Rec Department gives out trees to home owners.

The trick is, you have to apply to get a free tree. Just fill-out an application. You can get one online at the City of Temple's website or you can pick one up in the Parks & Rec Administration Office at 2 North Main Street, Suit 201 in Temple.

It's a first come first serve basis.

The trees are grown in the city's tree farm that was established back in 2005.
