U-Haul is looking out for those who were affected by the winter storm.

Believe it or not, many people are still dealing with the aftermath of the severe winter storms. Some CTX residents are still without electricity and water while dealing with leaking pipes and cluttered homes.

The franchise store U-Haul is offering free storage to those who were affected by the winter and storm and may need storage.

The disaster relief program is offered at over 150 company owned and operated U-Haul locations. The free month of storage covers new units. To find eligible units near you, visit uhaul.com/Storage.

So if you had frozen pipes, home damage, or anything of the sort, take advantage of the clean, dry storage space at your local U-Haul.

"Folks are facing severe water damage in some instances, and we want to offer every one of our Texas neighbors in need a secure place to store their belongings at no cost for one month," U-Haul Area District Vice President Matt Merrill wrote in a PR Newswire release from the company. "We have the expertise and infrastructure to help, and that's exactly what we're going to do."

Kudos to U-Haul to stepping up to help Texans in need.
