KWTX reported that a Central Texas woman had to be rescued from a fire that took place on Saturday.

A Waco woman suffered minor injuries after she was rescued from an apartment building inferno on Saturday in Waco.

Waco Fire Department was called to the apartments of where the fire took place around 10:45 a.m. on Saturday.

The apartments involved in the fire, were located on the 1100 block of North 6th Street in Waco.

When the Waco Fire Department crews arrived on the scene, they saw a woman hanging on for dear life from a second story window.

Fire crews were able to use a ladder, and bring the woman down for safety. There were no further details available at the time of this report on Saturday.
