We Have a List of Stores That Will Close on Thanksgiving
Dozens of stores have said they will not be open on Thanksgiving, allowing employees to spend the holiday with their families.
The list comes to us from BestBlackFriday.com. According to a survey they conducted in September, 57.53% of people are opposed to stores being open on Turkey Day, a practice that began a few years ago as stores sought to lure shoppers with early Black Friday deals.
The stores listed below agree that employees belong at home on Thanksgiving, not at work being mobbed by shopaholics. (Note: HEB will open at 6 AM on Thanksgiving, but will close early at 2 PM.)
