Aquilla ISD Closed for Power Outage Today
KWTX reported that classes will be canceled on Wednesday for Aquilla ISD. Classes will be canceled due to a power outage that took place late Tuesday night.
Aquilla ISD took to social media to spread the news about the power outage, and classes being canceled.
With the STARR testing currently taking place around the state, the exams will be pushed back till Thursday due to the power outage.
Aquilla Independent School District took to Facebook with a post to the public about the power outage.
"Late tonight a main electrical power disconnect that provides electricity to our elementary and secondary classrooms on our campus failed. Due to this power failure, school will be closed on Wednesday, April 11th. All state testing that was scheduled to take place will be pushed back one day and will take place on Thursday. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
