An Arctic Cold Front is headed for Bell County and Central Texas tonight that will send temperatures down into the 20's overnight. The front will settle along the I-35 corridor bringing the possibility of light freezing rain and sleet to the area.

Any accumulation will be very light and limited to elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses. Use caution when travelling late tonight and early tomorrow. The area with the best chance for wintry precipitation will be the Northwest portion of Central Texas. Our partners in the KWTX Doppler 10 Forecast Center are keeping an eye on a line from Eastland to Ennis along and west of I-35.

Waco, Temple, and Killeen can all expect a slight chance for showers tonight along with a small chance for freezing precipitation overnight. Winds will pick up as the front moves in with gusts bear 20 MPH at times resulting in wind chill readings in the teens. Highs on Thursday are expected to be in the 30's.
