Several Waco fire teams were on the scene for a two alarm fire on Wednesday night.

According to Dacota Taylor and our news partner KWTX, officials reported to the 400 block of Mount Lookout Dr. just a little after 6:00 p.m..

The first thing teams noticed was a stream of black smoke that could be seen for miles. The authorities on the scene said no one was present at the home when the fire took place.

It's still not a clear cut consensus on the house being destroyed, but the roof did collapse on the home. KWTX was first on the scene and could see flames going through the roof of the damaged home. The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
