Curbside pick-up is one thing, but imagine if you could do your grocery shopping online and have the goods delivered to your front door? HEB has just bought a Texas-based company that could soon make that a reality!
The service purchased by H-E-B is called Favor Delivery. It was founded in Austin about 5 years ago and their specialty is delivering just about anything. According to KXAN, the delivery service is used in 50 Texas cities already and could soon be the key to ordering your groceries online and having them delivered to your front door.
H-E-B announced late last week that they have acquired the popular delivery service and intend to keep the brand along with the 50,000 runners employed by Favor. Terms of the new partnership have not been made public yet.
