3 Best Places To Find The Most Refreshing Margaritas In Killeen, Texas
Now that the weather is beginning to warm up some in Killeen, Texas, we can talk about what’s really important - summertime drinks.
HAPPY HOUR ME PLEASE AND THANK YOU!
I feel like it was only appropriate with Cinco de Mayo coming up this week that we get into one of my all-time favorite drinks - margaritas. A Little bit of your favorite tequila, sweet-and-sour, salt around the rim of the cup, and a splash of lime, and you find yourself with a perfect margarita to enjoy.
WHO HAS THE BEST MARGARITAS IN KILLEEN?
Even though that sounds like a really simple recipe, I’ve been to restaurants that have somehow absolutely ruined the taste of a great margarita.
So Killeen, Texas, I made it my mission to find the top three best places to get a delicious tasty margarita, and in my feelings, I did not disappoint!
TAQUERIA LOCATED AT 1915 E VETERANS MEMORIAL
Let’s start out with this restaurant. I previously wrote an article listing it among my top spots to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, and the margaritas were definitely a factor. The Taqueria located at 1915 East Veterans Memorial is definitely my favorite go-to spot to have margaritas, and they make 'em nice and strong here.
TAQUERIA MEXICO ON STAN SCHLUETER LOOP
Taqueria Mexico located at 3007 W. Stan Schlueter Loop has some of the tastiest margaritas I’ve had in my life. The strawberry margarita is definitely a crowd pleaser, but you really can't go wrong with any of their mixed drinks.
MENO'S IS AT 1100 E. STAN SCHLUETER LOOP
Last but not least, Meno’s located at 1100 E. Stan Schluter Loop is the perfect place to have a margarita if you are a lightweight. That's because they don't use tequila - it is a wine based margarita, which is perfect for people who don't like tequila.
Wherever you celebrate, just remember to have a designated driver or arrange to get home safely. Don't be that person who gets behind the wheel after drinking. Let's make sure everyone can have a great time and get home safe to their families.
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
