When driving up and down Interstate 35 in Central Texas, there's a new travel stop that can service your needs.

KWTX reported Love's Travel Stop located off Interstate 35 at 1610 Cotton Gin Road in Troy, opened for business on Monday morning. With the opening, Love's Travel Stop has created 80 new jobs in the area.

Tom Love, who is the founder and executive chairman of Love's said, "Troy is an ideal location for Love’s because of its great position along Interstate 35 and proximity to Temple and Waco."

The location is 13,000 square feet, open 24 hours, and has two restaurants located within the travel stop. The restaurants located within Love's are, McDonald's and Subway. Along with the great eatery, the location possesses 114 truck parking spaces, showers, and other services for the truck drivers that come through the area.

Love's Travel Stop will have their official ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening on Thursday December 21st. Also during this ribbon cutting ceremony for Love's, the newly opened travel stop will make a $2,000 donation  to the Central Texas Network for Children with Special Needs.
