Motorcyclist Sent To Local Hospital After Pickup Truck Collision
Thursday morning, a collision occurred in a busy intersection in Waco. According to Matthew Ablon and our news partner KWTX, a motorcyclist was hit by a driver of a pickup truck.
The accident took place around 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, at the intersection of the Highway 6 and Highway 84 access roads right by a 7-Eleven store. Authorities say the driver of the pickup truck ran a red light in the intersection, and didn't stop after hitting the motorcycle.
Another driver stayed hot on the trail of the driver of the pickup after not stopping, and eventually the driver was detained for the crime. The motorcyclist was conscious at the scene, and was taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center. No further details were available at this time.
