Pedestrian Hit Crossing A Busy Street in Waco

KWTX's Chelsea Edwards reports that a woman was struck by a vehicle in Waco and sustained serious injuries.

Veronica Cabarrubia, 42, was hit in the 300 block of North Valley Mills Drive around 7:00 p.m. Sunday.

Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said, "Cabarrubia was trying to cross Valley Mills from west to east when a Camaro driven by a 16-year-old struck her."

Cabarrubia was taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center wit significant injuries. The accident is currently under investigation .
