KWTX's John Carroll reported late Wednesday morning that drivers on Loop 340 may have saw quite a scene while driving by.

Numerous Waco police officers kept an eye on prison inmates after their Texas prison bus suffered a blowout. The blowout left the bus stranded on the shoulder of Loop 340, just west of the Bagby Avenue overpass.

The bus was heading to the east towards Interstate 35, and the tire blowout caused for the driver to have to pull over to the shoulder of the highway.

The prisoners that were aboard the bus that suffered the blowout, were transferred to another bus while officers secured the area with guns drawn.
