Temple Police Need Help Identifying Pair of Robbery Suspects
Temple police are hoping someone can help them identify two people suspected of back-to-back convenience store robberies.
In a news release issued Tuesday, Temple PD Public Information Officer Shawana Neely said two masked men entered the Quick Stop/Valero at 1506 Paseo Del Oro at 11:02 PM Friday. Neely said both men pointed guns at an employee and demanded cash and other items. After receiving $230 cash and other goods, they fled south on foot.
According to Neely, two men matching the description of the duo in the photos above robbed another store at the intersection of South 19th Street and West Avenue M 45 minutes prior to the Paseo Del Oro robbery. Neely said police were not able to obtain footage from that crime scene.
Anyone with information about either crime or who may be able to identify the suspects is asked to contact the Temple Police Department at (254) 298-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-729-TIPS. (Local, 254-526-TIPS.) Information may also be submitted at bellcountycrimestoppers.com or via the P3Tips mobile app.
Information submitted to Crime Stoppers is anonymous and confidential, and information leading to an arrest and conviction could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.
