A Cypress-Fairbanks ISD student was reportedly injured by a teacher during a dispute over a juice box.

According to ABC News, an 11-year-old student was airlifted to the Texas Medical Center in Houston following a feud with a teacher. The student, Kamauri Williamson, needed 6 stitches to close a gash above his eyebrow.

Kamauri's mother, Kiana Randolph, says she received a phone call from the school nurse at Post Elementary stating that her son was injured at lunch. Upon Randolph's arrival she discovered her son being airlifted for treatment, and learned that the quarrel began over a juice box.

The teacher believed Williamson stole the juice box and decided to take matters into his own hands. Randolph viewed portions of the school's surveillance footage and claims that the teacher slammed Kamauri's head against a classroom counter.

The teacher has since been placed on administrative leave and Kamuari has returned to school. The family's lawyer hopes to see justice soon, but for now Cypress-Fairbanks ISD says that the incident is still under investigation.
