Two Vehicle Crash Takes Life of 93 Year Old Central Texas Woman
A 93-year-old Central Texas woman lost her life in a two-vehicle crash on Monday evening.
KWTX reports that the woman who died at the result of the crash was Mozelle McDonald of Temple. McDonald died at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple shortly after the crash occurred.
Sgt. Ryan Howard with the Department of Public Safety said, "The crash occurred just after 6:30 p.m. Monday on State Highway 36 about a half mile west of Temple."
McDonald was severely hurt when a Ford Fusion coming from the eastbound direction hit her Saturn Ion as she was pulling out of a Dollar General parking on to State Highway 36.
The driver of the car that struck McDonald's was taken to Baylor Scott & White as well after the crash, but information on their injuries weren't available at the present time.
