Wreck in Killeen Causes Jet Fuel Leak

KWTX's Chris Shadrock reports that a tractor trailer and a car were involved in a collision in Killeen Tuesday morning.

The collision between the two vehicles caused the tractor trailer to leak jet fuel in the road.

The crash occurred slightly after 10:45 a.m. near the intersection of South 2nd Street and West Hallmark Avenue.

Killeen authorities said two people in the car were taken to Metroplex Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Killeen Police Department Hazmat team was on the scene of the crash, and closed several streets around the crash site.

The roads were shutdown for a little less than two hours.
