KWTX's Chris Shadrock reported that an early-morning police chase on Tuesday came to a halt in Waco, when the driver lost control of their vehicle while attemptiung to evade the authorities.

The driver leading the authorities on the chase, slammed their vehicle into a used car dealership on Franklin Avenue in the city of Waco.

The chase began around 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, and got going on South Valley Mills Drive in Beverly Hills.

The driver led the authorities into the Waco city limits, onto Franklin Avenue before the car veered and crashed into Massey Motors car dealership.

Massey Motors is located in the 2400 block of Franklin Avenue, and also damaged a couple of other cars on the lot as well.

After the crash, Franklin Avenue was closed partially in the area the crash occurred at. One person was detained, and questioned at the scene of the crash Tuesday morning. There was no additional information available on the crash at the present time.
