The city of Temple released information today about some improvements that might cause some hassle for a few days.

The city of Temple is in the process of improving the storm sewer infrastructure from South 33rd Street to South 43rd Street, between Avenue P and M.

They hope the new work will mitigate flooding in the neighborhood. The residents were given notices last week of the pending work.

In addition to the drainage work, contractors will be locating utilities in the roadway 1407 South 43rd Street and 1407 South 41st Street on Tuesday, July 2nd. Then on Wednesday, July 3rd, the contractors will be at 1407 South 39th Street.

The City of Temple appreciates your cooperation while they improve the community's storm sewer and thank you for your patience.
