Victim Identified in Central Texas Crash
KWTX's Ke'Sha Lopez reported that the Texas Department of Public Safety released the identity of a man who was killed in an auto accident on Saturday in Central Texas.
Sgt. Ryan Howard said, "John Saunders Jr., 62, of Houston was pronounced dead at the scene."
Troopers arrived to the scene of a single vehicle collision on State Highway 7, around seven miles east of Marlin where they discovered Saunders was driving a pickup truck heading westbound. Saunders drove his truck onto the shoulder of the highway, and crashed it into a guardrail.
Howard said that Saunders truck hit the guardrail multiple times before coming to a complete halt. There were no further details released to the public at the current time.
