Waco Woman Killed Over Weekend

KWTX's Ke'Sha Lopez and Matthew Ablon reported  that a Waco woman was killed in car crash Saturday night. The crash occurred in Axtell, and she was killed in a wrong way crash.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that Melissa Rose, 33 was traveling eastbound on State Highway 31 in her Chevy SUV. Rose was struck by a Ford F-150 that was traveling westbound on the wrong side of the highway.

Rose was pronounced deceased at the scene, and her family was notified of the news. The driver of the Ford was taken to a local hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries. The Department of Public Safety said the investigation is ongoing, and that charges are very possible for the driver of the Ford.
