I’m Lynn Woolley with your Logic Minute for 2/14/13

Anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist has taken up a new crusade. In
Texas, Norquist says the Lone Star State must play a big role in
creating a path to citizenship for illegal aliens. Norquist knows a
bandwagon when he sees one. But he should stick to taxes. Here’s
what will likely happen if we pass comprehensive immigration reform.
Out of compassion, Congress will speed up the path to citizenship.
Chain migration will take place. Seeing new hope, thousands of
Mexican nationals and others will cross the border unimpeded. There
will be little, if any border security. The United States will have a
permanent underclass, in poverty, and unable to earn livable wages.
The underclass will reproduce at a more rapid rate than the rest of
society. Hospitals and schools will be disproportionately affected.
Like Canada, we will be a bilingual nation. The Republican Party will
become totally irrelevant.
