Early Morning Semi Wreck On Interstate 35
Emergency responders in Bruceville-Eddy had their work cut out for them early Thursday morning after an 18-wheeler swerved to avoid one collision and ended up part of another.
KWTX's Ryan Henson reports that it happened shortly before 3 AM on southbound I-35 just past Old Bruceville Road. The driver of the truck said a car cut him off. He swerved to avoid hitting it and ended up hitting a concrete wall along the side of the road.
Thankfully, the driver was not injured. His truck and trailer had to be towed separately, though.
We're all having to deal with torn up construction zones on I-35, and we've got share the road responsibly. Trucks can't stop as quickly or maneuver as nimbly as our sedans, folks.
